The Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies (BCAT) is entering a very exciting time having just hired a new CEO, a new clinical lead and expanding greatly our Arts in Health movement. To complement this new team and direction for the charity we are looking to recruit a new finance controller to help support the charity in its future successes.
You will join an established Charity as it embarks on this ambitious phase of growth and bring your finance skills to a truly fantastic charity. This role is ideal for somebody who is returning to work from starting a family or someone who has just retired who wasn't really ready to.
We offer flexible hours with remote working, although you will be required to come to the office at times, that can work around commitments. The plan will be for the role to grow in hours as the charity grows and we want this role to play an instrumental role in supporting this growth.
BCAT are currently looking at new premises and are hoping to be in its new home by the end of this year, it is very likely to be based in the south of Birmingham and its surrounding areas.
The Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies (BCAT) was set up in 1993 to provide accessible arts therapies throughout the Midlands. We support adults and children experiencing to work through a wide variety of issues with arts therapies, all delivered by qualified psychotherapists.
BCAT also runs a successful Arts in Health programme where it take its service out into the local community and delivers therapeutic sessions to those in the community in most need.
