Operations Manager required to lead the London operations team. My client specialises in vehicle servicing that combines predictive software, skilled technicians, national care hubs making it easier to service connected fleets.
A fully remote role requiring regular site visits in Central London
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Managing the fulfilment of products and services to customer
Coordinate and manage the scheduling and execution of servicing for assigned fleets
Respond to customer requests, identify needs, and provide feedback to development team
Utilise digital platform and provide user feedback to the development team
Developing appropriate documentation and procedures to scale new products and services
Document current procedures for delivering new products and services
Identify and implement procedure improvements based on data driven metrics
Expanding the product and service offerings to new geographic regions
Research new geographic regions and identify expansion requirements
Create and execute detailed expansion plans
Lead onboarding of new service providers and customers to the platform
Designing and running experiments to develop new products and services
Collaborate with customers to identify new servicing needs
Identify and prototype solutions to the identified serving need
Provide feedback and leanings to the development team
Experience and Education
7+ year experience in operations, innovation, or customer facing roles
Experience using Tableau or other data visualisation software to analyse and visualise data to make data driven decisions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and procedures
Strong communication skills, tech savviness, and decisiveness under ambiguous circumstance
Ability to contribute to a cross-functional team environment
Ability to design and run quick iterative experiments based on minimum viable prototypes
Ability to travel 25-50% on average This role would suit candidates who are within easy reach of central London and who have an understanding of the vehicle fleet/servicing sector.
It is expected that the responsibilities of this role will increase to cover a European Expansion, so ideally we would like candidates who would consider a permanent role at a later date.
