This role is working at the forefront of Fibre Technology, giving you the chance to work with some of the world's leading experts within this niche field. Based out of a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility we have multiple roles available as a result of growth and heavy investment into new technology.
With new capital equipment arriving later this year the department are developing cutting edge speciality fibre fabrication processes to support a rapidly expanding fibre product range. You will work with internal teams of scientists and engineers whilst also collaborating with leading university institutions across thew world.
The technology will involve Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition (MCVD) and Chelate principles which is a rare but pivotal in the future development of fibre technology across the business. With huge backing and expansion plans on the horizon this is a great time to join.
For this role we are looking for:
A strong academic background in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science with an understanding of MCVD/Chelate or Fibre draw experience.
