Horizon Teachers are currently working with a supported home setting based in Ealing, who are looking for a Support Worker/Teaching Assistant to work with an SEN student on a 1:1 basis. The role will be starting as soon as possible, for either two days or four days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Saturdays and Sundays.

The role:
-1:1 supporting a ten-year-old boy with a range of SEND, including Autism and challenging behaviour.
-Taking the child for various activities, such as cycling or swimming.
-Engaging with the child in various fun games and helping with homework.

Who they are looking for:
-An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or Care worker.
-Someone with an understanding of learning disabilities such as ASD.
-An energetic person who is able to keep up with a lively child.
-Understanding of PECS and Makaton is desired.
