Charterhouse is a successful and ambitious co-educational school in an inspiringly beautiful setting. Founded in 1611, it moved to its present magnificent 250-acre site near Godalming in 1872. The School has almost 900 pupils aged between 13 and 18, all of whom are boarders except for about 30 day pupils.

Deputy Head (Pastoral)

This is a wonderful opportunity for an exceptionally talented individual who is looking to take the next step in developing their senior leadership career in a co-educational environment.

The Deputy Head (Pastoral) will be an inspirational, innovative and ambitious individual, who will lead and develop the talents of all those within the School's caring pastoral environment.

This role is available as the current post-holder is retiring at the end of this academic year, and this is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional and creative individual to lead and manage all aspects of the School's pastoral community.

The Deputy Head (Pastoral) is a key member of the School's Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, and the successful applicant is likely to aspire to Headship within five years.
