Hannah, in our Credit Control team is hiring a Finance Assistant or Office Administrator to join the team as a Junior Credit Controller. This is a great opportunity to embed yourself within a busy Credit Control team, work alongside our experienced team and train on the job.
What we look for in a successful candidate is excellent people skills, the confidence to pick up the phone and have difficult conversations (don't worry, they aren't all like that!). Maybe you have worked in debt recovery before, or in a customer service complaints department. Resilience, negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships are all key attributes to make you a success in this position.
Donna, our Senior Credit Controller will be on hand to train, coach and guide you in our processes and procedures. You work closely with our fee earners too, giving you insight into each individual case and fees we are owed.
You will be required to work in our Leeds city centre office for a minimum of one day per week. The remaining days will be worked from your own home. We provide the IT equipment for you to carry out your duties, but we ask that you have a comfortable and suitable place to work from your home.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, you will be offered a full time, permanent contract with a competitive salary for a trainee or junior position in the team. We offer great incentives, bonuses and discounts, as well as 33 days annual leave (Inc. public holidays) pension and sick pay.
