Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our '3Ps'.
Catch22 supports people through education, employment, mental health and emotional support and social care services. We reach out to people in their communities and help them get the support they need. Last year we supported over 110,000 people across England and Wales to lead better lives.
We achieve this in two ways. First, we improve lives on the frontline through delivery of public services. Secondly, we use our knowledge to change 'the system', to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help. With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda.
Our sector-leading partnerships work collaboratively with forward-thinking organisations such as Barclays, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Salesforce and others, to push forward original thinking, innovation and deliver high-impact services.
As Partnerships Manager, you will be working closely with Partnerships team to generate income and building relationships with existing partners.
You will be responsible for the full cycle of Partnership Development; finding and generating leads, building relationships, writing proposals and account managing existing partners.
Partnerships operates in an interesting space at Catch22. Because we have the 'heart of a charity; mindset of a business', we have the ability think expansively about what partnerships can be across the corporate, social enterprise, and business landscape. This means we explore investment opportunities and consider both the social impact of our projects and their financial sustainability.
The Partnerships team also works across the full spectrum of Catch22 delivery; justice, employability, apprenticeships, education and young people and family services.
We're looking for a self starter to join our team. We're looking for someone with a passion for innovation, great interpersonal skills and a strategic view of building partnerships. You'll be good at going out, building networks, coming up with fresh ideas and bringing them into fruition.
We welcome applications from people who haven't worked in this sector directly, but have transferable skills. As a general rule, we hold 'number of years' much more loosely than valuable experience, skills, capabilities and the right attitude.
You're an engaging relationship-builder. You're a strong communicator, adept at expressing complex ideas simply and telling compelling stories. You listen well and find ways to build rapport with others quickly.
You're exceptionally well-organised. You can keep on top of a shifting set of projects and opportunities. You can project manage not just the work, but the people involved to keep energy levels and momentum up.
You can write, pitch and present. You know how to summarise complex information succinctly, and how to get into the mindset of the audience to pitch it in the right way. You'll be good at pulling together information from diverse sources (such as workshops and operational input) to create an attractive offer.
You can think big and challenge ideas. You're not constrained by traditional ideas of philanthropic giving. You understand social outcomes, and can consider commercial risk and reward. You can apply business-minded thinking to helping us achieve our goals.
You're not afraid of working hard in pursuit of a big vision. You have resilience, dedication and a keen interest in the sectors we're working in.
You are learning to think strategically. You understand how organisations have to position themselves within a market, and are learning to think about how we position ourselves.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer. If you have any questions or concerns about your eligibility, please get in touch.
