My client, working within the leisure industry are a leader in their field. The company operates throughout the UK managing contracts and supplying services.
Your new role
The role of Interim Finance Manager primarily is the produce financial reports relating to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc. Developing long-term business plans based on these reports. Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets. Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk. You will need to be proficient in Excel and be able to work both autonomously and with pace. Furthermore you will monitor the day-to-day financial operations, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions, produce monthly accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, including commentary and oversee VAT returns.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified, ACCA or part qualified accountant AAT or qualified by experience. A solid understanding of Month End processes and procedures is required in addition to monthly recharges, accruals and prepayments. Intermediate or Advanced Excel Skills, including the use of Pivot Tales, V & H Lookups etc would also be useful.
