You will work with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the £100m + business and setting the strategy and direction for the organisation. In doing so, you will influence stakeholders internally and externally at the highest level to ensure the strategy is implemented across all areas of the organisation and that they meet their regulatory obligations.

As the Responsible Officer you will also work to ensure all the qualifications, assessments and regulated services comply with regulatory criteria and are held in high regard by customers, learners and stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have experience and a proven track record of working closely with UK regulators, understanding their requirements and being able to build and maintain strong working relationships with them. You will have the gravitas, experience, reputation and knowledge to influence and engage at the highest levels with regulators, senior civil servants and also at ministerial level in government.

You will also have highly developed leadership skills including negotiation skills, managing and motivating teams and driving staff development.
