A brand new opportunity has arisen for someone to join our client based in the heart of Stoke on Trent where you will be providing banking support within the business using the bespoke system and Excel to ensure that payments are recorded weekly, statement reconciled and invoices processed. The workload has increased throughout the business and therefore there is an urgent requirement for someone numerical and analytical to join the business.

You will be joining an existing and extremely well known firm where you will be based at their head office and will be working with the team to ensure that the processes are completed accurately and in accordance with company guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing admin support, providing audit trails and resolving discrepancies where necessary.

Duties will include;
  • Weekly invoice preparation, balance and credit control
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Ensure maximum efficiency
  • Daily payment balancing, banking and sales reconciliation
  • You will be responsible for administration tasks, receiving telephone calls and preparing records
  • Prioritising your own workload and adhering to set deadlines
  • Work effectively with a team and on your own

You will need to be;
  • Flexible and adapt to the team
  • Be able to maintain strict confidentiality and data protection policies at all times
  • Observe and maintain security procedures
  • Attend meetings, events and activities
  • Maintain effective and collaborative relationships
  • Previous banking or accounting experience
  • A Confident telephone manner and communication skills
  • High attention to detail

You will be working 9 - 5 Monday - Friday and will be rewarded with;
