Join us as a Financial Accountant
As a remote based Financial Accountant, the key purpose of the Financial Accountant is to support the Financial Controller with ensuring that the key balance sheet controls are performing correctly, that quarterly regulatory and VAT reporting is completed on time and accurately, and that financial reporting and audit requirements are met.Who are we?

What is the salary and hours?
- Carry out WD1 and mid-month client money calculations.
- Review Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, compile a balance sheet reporting pack to include a summary of key accounts, a list of any reconciling items to be resolved, etc
- Complete RMAR reporting on a quarterly basis and undertake other regulatory responsibilities.
- Support the Financial Controller to maintain and develop the regulatory control environment to ensure that the broker complies with the provisions of CASS 5 and maintain an appropriate knowledge of the CASS 5 governance framework.
A highly competitive annual salary of c.£50,000 dependant on experience.
The role is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave. 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. You will work fully remotely so can be based anywhere in the country.What benefits are there?

The ideal candidate will be ACCA OR CIMA qualified. Yu will have reconciliations experience and will be an intermediate to advanced user in Excel. It would be highly advantageous if you have audit experience, experience of using SAGE or if you do or have previously worked in the insurance arena.
