XeroE is an emission free delivery platform providing sustainable next day and same day deliveries in London and Bristol. We are seeking a senior developer to build and manage the Technical Team and grow into the CTO role. Hands on technical contribution to maintain and run the current platform required but also the vision to create a product and technical roadmap to replace and update it.

This is a start up environment with the opportunity to shape the future architecture of the company's tech platform and sustainability reporting algorithm. The company has recently received additional investment and is expanding its operations from London and Bristol to other UK cities.

RequirementsResponsibilitiesYou will be involved at all levels of the web dev stack from the front-end to the database and be expected to contribute to major architectural decisions.

You will need to be experienced enough to carry out work on your own initiative and with minimal guidance. We would expect you to be comfortable working in a start-up environment.

We now need more hard working people to join our team of clever, pragmatic and very motivated people. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major architectural decisions at an early stage in the company's history.

  • Java / Groovy
  • Grails and/or Spring framework
  • TDD
  • MySQL
  • JS / HTML / CSS
  • RESTful API development experience
