What we need from you....

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintain the security and monitoring of the ADI infrastructure and network

• Manage and configure the network architecture of the ADI core network.

• Install, configure and maintain operating systems on all production and development environments

• Creation of scripts to enhance efficiency of server / network maintenance

• Assist with Database Administration where required

• Administer the SAN Storage.

• Manage all VPN and firewall appliances

• 3rd Line escalation for IT requests as required.

• Ability to deliver / contribute to medium/ large scale technical projects.

• Maintain relationships with vendors of server hardware and hosting providers

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in a computing related discipline or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2 years commercial experience.

• Network Management - Juniper or equivalent. Ability to configure VLAN's, QoS, PIM.

• A strong understanding of Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian/Fedora) and Windows (Server 2008-2019) administration.

• Experience working with MS Office 365

• Firewall/Router configuration.

• Database administration experience with Postgres, MySQL

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Deep understanding of how to configure and set-up robust Infrastructure and network solutions that are: scalable, enabled for safe failover, load balanced and secure.

• Network Management - Juniper or equivalent. Ability to configure VLAN's, QoS, PIM.

• A strong understanding of Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian/Fedora) and Windows (Server 2008-2019) administration.

• Experience with open-source technologies such as pfSense and Proxmox,

• Experience of managing and upgrading Virtualisation platforms.

• Solid Scripting skills including; Bash, Perl, Python

• Understanding of SSL certificates

• Experience of managing backup systems for physical and virtual environments.

• Knowledge of working with SAN / NAS technologies and filesystems.

• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Core hours will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 08.30am - 5.30pm.
