User Experience Researcher

Offices Located in - London, Birmingham, Leeds and Belfast

Salary up to to 68k depending on experience and location

After a 31% increase in profits this last year, my client are looking to take on multiple UX Researchers in all offices. They are a socially responsible, tech for better consultancy that work with both private and public sector organisations. Ideally you will have at least 3 years experience in a UX type environment. As a UX Researcher your responsibilities will include:

o Work as part of a multi-disciplined agile team to design user focused and successful services

o Plan, design, and conduct user research to focus the design and development on user needs

o Contribute to the usability testing process from developing user recruitment briefs through to test moderation, analysis and report writing

o Work very closely with insight and research teams at client side to delivery relevant and appropriate research plans

o Work closely with designers and developers to turn user insights into actionable design or service recommendations

Essential Skills:

o Sound knowledge of qualitative research methods including user requirements gathering and early stage concept and prototype testing, guerrilla research, and other approaches to ensuring user needs are fully understood

o Sound knowledge of using artifacts to share and communicate insights such as user flows, experience maps, experience blueprints, prioritised user needs, user profiles, and test results

o Good knowledge and understanding of quantitative research methods
