The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Arena customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate can skillfully represent our solutions with both enthusiasm and transparency in the marketplace, perform against quarterly revenue goals including retention targets and customer account growth and maintain accurate and high-quality records.

  • Develop a rich understanding of needs and opportunities within Arena's customer base, serving as an advocate for the customer to Arena and for Arena to the customer
  • Deliver customer retention based on the assigned Retention quota
  • Maintain Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) quotas throughout the year by identifying and pursuing opportunities for the customer to broaden and deepen their use of Arena
  • Successfully execute specific Customer Success Playbook tasks assigned to Account Management to ensure customer satisfaction and interaction
  • Follow rules and guidelines necessary to produce accurate and quality work around CRM (data input and upkeep), negotiations (quoting, pricing, and documentation), and overall communication (internal and external)
  • Leverage customer application usage metrics to target specific groups with marketing collateral, help documentation and webinar invitations
  • Work with customer success to identify opportunities for expansion and improved application adoption

Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, motivated, creative, and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and another EU language (Ideally).
  • Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them
  • Able to work cross-functionally with other departments

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with cloud or SaaS application sales
  • Experience with software solution sales to manufacturing or industrial customers
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Successful previous sales experience in an Account Management & Renewal Role
