Job Opportunity: VB.NET Developer - Worcester

Location: Worcester

Salary: £35-50,000 DOE + benefits

Chapman Tate Associates seeks a VB.Net Developer to join this internationally based manufacturer whom operate within the aviation and defence industries. With over 35 years experience my client works alongside the likes of Boeing helping them provide a range of parts for their fleet of planes around the World.

This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on a number of in-house systems that intrinsically provide support to a number of business functions.

The role will include a number of in-house development tasks and duties. You will document any system processes and transitions that take place. You will partake in development scrums to look at new ways of working and enhancing the system.

Technically you will have experience around the following:

  • .NET Full Stack Development exp
  • VB.net/VB development exp
  • SQL Server development exp
  • Java / Jquery
  • CSS / HTML


Any experience around the following would be highly advantageous:

  • SSRS/ SSIS
  • Azure SQL

You will have key stakeholder management and organisation skills, whilst being efficient in keeping departmental heads up to date with any code/application changes that are made to the system.
