Role: DevOps Trainer

Location: London Preferred

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience

Working Hours: Full Time

We're looking for an experienced DevOps or Software professional to join our team of technical trainers, educating junior Software Developers and/or DevOps Engineers.

We're a fast-growing team, within a more established agency, focusing on delivering the best quality DevOps and Software training available in the country. We work with our clients to develop training programmes that equip their junior staff with the skills that they'll need to excel in the business, and in doing so build long-term relationships. We're looking for someone with a passion for technology and a passion for teaching or mentoring to join us.

The Role:

We are looking for DevOps or Software Development specialists, with experience working with a range of technologies and a clear understanding of how modern software development teams operate. You enjoy working with junior developers, and can empathise with others, enabling you to identify when they're struggling and how to help them.

You're a natural communicator (visual, written and verbal): comfortable engaging with clients, team-members, learners; and adept at getting your idea across in a number of ways (presentations, emails, code review, one-to-one calls, and workshop facilitation).

As a DevOps Trainer, you have:
  • An enthusiasm for teaching
  • Passion for DevOps and Software Development
  • A self-starting, proactive approach
  • An ability to learn new skills quickly
  • A desire to improve and develop new skills
  • Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
  • A strong ability to communicate (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment
  • Experience with apprenticeships
  • Experience with some of: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Ansible, Jenkins
