As a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor , you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all installed equipment in the Norwich site. Secondary responsibility is the general maintenance and upkeep of the Norwich facility e.g. lighting, fixture installation, employee welfare facilities, etc. There is a heavy electrical bias to this role though there will be a requirement to support the mechanical aspect of equipment and facilities maintenance.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SCOPE

• Management of mechanical and electrical calibration equipment

• Preventative maintenance and breakdown cover for installed production and service equipment

• Control of onsite test equipment, mechanical and electrical including calibration status and management

• Support installation of new equipment into the facility including early involvement with equipment design

• Control of onsite test equipment, mechanical and electrical including calibration status and management

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SCOPE

• Building M&E services including back-up system maintenance and improvements

• Building and grounds maintenance

• Project manage and cost control of small to medium facilities projects, appointing and managing appropriate contractors to implement

• To carry out minor facility repairs and maintenance tasks

MANAGEMENT

• X1 Direct reports but will take the project lead as required in multifunction projects

• Proven track record of project management skills and successful project implementation

• Proven record of strong people management skills including ability to successfully build the required skills in a team, develop individuals and implement team working

• Good communication and presentation skills with ability to adapt personal style to colleagues' preferences and translate the departmental impacts to all levels of the business.

• Peer Relationships - Collaborative style with ability to build partnerships both internally and externally, quickly finding common ground and solve problems for the good of all

COMMUNICATION

• To maintain active and continuous contact (not restricted to formal meetings) with all stakeholders on the Norwich, site

• To encourage good relations and professional communication between, staff, departments, customers, and suppliers.

• To ensure that company efficiency is not restricted by poor communications.

• Utilizes visual management to track projects, measure performance and run problem solving events at Gemba.

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:

• 17/18th Edition electrical qualification - essential

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance of complex equipment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Experience in maintenance and installation of electronics manufacturing equipment

• Mechanical skills are desirable
