We're working with one of the industries best kept secrets. This AAA development team work as a third party developer to some of the biggest publishers in the world; they've recently signed two brand new deals to work on household name IP.
As a result of their growth, they're looking to hire a Producer. This role would see you managing, from the very beginning, the development of a brand new game. You'd be managing a small development team and liaising directly with the IP holder. As well as being good with resource management on Excel or updating JIRA and running SCRUM meetings, you'd ideally bring a confident and driven communication style that rallies your team and motivates them.
The studio are based in a modern and well equipped studio in Daresbury, Cheshire. This role however could be 'mostly' remote with 1-2 visits to the studio per month for key meetings. They have a no-crunch policy and operate a team-first philosophy which centres on protecting the well-being of their employees. They have a good, supportive culture which is evidenced by a stable work-force and long-term tenures across the teams.
I think this role would suit someone who has outgrown an Associate Producer or Producer role, someone who wants to be fully responsible for a project from start to finish.
To be considered, we'd love to see:
- You've recently held a Producer (or similar position) within a Games studio
- You've been a key part of shipping a title, from cradle to grave
- Confident and collaborative communication style
- You're organised, punctual and a good 'planner'
- In-depth knowledge of the Game Development life-cycle
This is a great role, the team are friendly, motivated, mature and authentic. The role can be 'mostly' remote. Salary is £35,000-£50,000 dependent on experience.
