Senior Data Engineer

About the role:

Reporting into the Head of Data, Measurement & Analytics for day to day support across each client account and our different products & services. The role plays a key part in supporting the development and delivery of the data engineering approach across all our clients. This role plays a crucial part in bringing data to the heart of PHD's strategic practice by leading PHD's research offering and shaping the delivery and evolution of this practice. This is a technical hands on role, we are looking for an experienced engineer with team management experience, as you will lead a small high performing team.

What we need:

Looking for a smart confident AWS and Data Engineering practitioner that is responsible for the management of all data being used for insight, analytics and performance reporting, this includes event level data. Ownership and management of Cloud infrastructure environment and its performance. The key delivery is to make available high quality data at scale to the end user. Must be autonomous and able to show progress to management. AWS expertise required working with large complex datasets.

An independent self-starter you will be able to quickly establish credible relationships with senior agency stakeholders and clients to effectively position PHD as a valued strategic partner.

You will have experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge. The ability to collaborate and simplify complex solutions is crucial for the success of this role as is the ability to prioritise initiatives that drive most value and impact.
