August is the modern way to own holiday homes in Europe. It is the easiest and most efficient way to own second homes without any of the typical hassles that comes with home ownership. We purchase, renovate, interior design and manage the homes on behalf of the families and define ourselves by the quality of our homes and simplicity of our ownership model.

We are launching many new products this year and aim to significantly scale that number of collections in the coming years. As the August head of growth, you will be responsible for managing significant budgets to scale customer acquisition and be directly responsible for all acquisition budgets, forecasts and KPI's. Being a member of a small team, you'll enjoy thinking broadly and strategically while executing quickly and tactically, having a direct impact on the company's results.

As a successful Head of growth, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Direct the channel marketing strategy, management and budget allocation across the digital marketing mix to align with our growth objectives
  • Plan and implement best-in-class paid marketing campaigns to grow user acquisition while maximising efficiency, managing full-cycle execution with varying objectives across channels
  • Deeply understand our customers and key customer personas to successfully implement acquisition strategies for each target group


Day to day activities include:

  • Take complete ownership of the Growth Marketing function at August
  • Be directly responsible for all acquisition budgets, forecasts and KPI's
  • Manage third party agencies
  • Work closely with performance marketing team and drive results
  • Oversee existing partnership channels and establish new ones
  • Prepare and provide accurate forecasts to management on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing & Sales teams to proactively share insights and opportunities, as well as to work on broader marketing campaigns to devise and implement our content strategy across all channels


About You - We'd love to hear from you if you have:


  • Exceptional, proven digital marketer with a focus on customer acquisition
  • Ability to grow, develop and lead a Growth team
  • Extensive experience in planning and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns with a very good understanding of digital data analytics
  • Experience in a fast-paced high-growth start-up environment, working lean - both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Based in London.
