Mae Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni yn ysgol lwyddiannus a phoblogaidd dros ben. Ymatebodd yr ysgol i'r twf yn y galw am addysg Gymraeg yn yr ardal trwy agor ail safle yng Nghaerffili yn 2013, safle sydd bellach yn cynnwys disgyblion o flwyddyn 7 i flwyddyn 11 ac sy'n parhau i dyfu. Lleolir y chweched dosbarth a ffrwd arall o ddisgyblion CA3 a CA4 ar safle Gellihaf, ger pentref Fleur-de-lys yn y Coed Duon.

RequirementsJOB PURPOSE

Organise and supervise Information Technology systems within the school. Contribute to the

planning, development and monitoring of Information Technology services and/or Management

of Information Technology staff, including coordination and delegation of relevant activities.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Comply with and assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to child

protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns

to an appropriate person.

DETAILED TASK PROFILE

Organisation

• Take a lead role in planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of Information Technology systems/procedures/policies.

• Line Management responsibilities where appropriate.

• Manage Information Technology staff.

• Liaise between managers/teaching staff and support staff.

• Hold regular team meetings with managed staff.

• Undertake recruitment/induction/appraisal/training/mentoring for other staff.

Administration

• Take lead role in the development and maintenance of record/information systems.

• Provide detailed analysis and evaluation of data/ and produce detailed reports/information as required.

• Produce, and respond to, complex correspondence.

• Provide organisational and complex Information Technology personal support to other staff.

• Provide organisational and complex advisory support to the Governing Body.

• Manage complex Information Technology procedures.

• Responsible for completion and submission of complex forms, returns etc., including those

to outside agencies e.g. DfES.

Resources

• Responsible for the selection and management of resources, including management of a budget and regular audit of resources.

• Contribute to the recruitment of Information Technology staff and in managing associated employment procedures.

• Provide advice and guidance to staff and others on complex issues.

• Undertake research and obtain information to inform decisions.

• Take a lead role in procurement and securing sponsorship/funding.

• Manage service contracts.

• Manage school licences and insurance.

• Contribute towards the marketing and promoting the school.

• Manage the schools Information Technology systems.

• Take a lead role in planning, monitoring and evaluation of the Information Technology budget.

• Be responsible for the management of expenditure within an agreed budget.

• Health and Safety management.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Contacts on matters where the outcome may not be straightforward and is likely to involve

dealings with Parents, Teaching based staff, and outside contacts
