Finance Assistant- NoMad London

NoMad, one of the most stylish boutique hotel brands from America, takes residence in the heart of Covent Garden inside the historic building famously known as The Bow Street Magistrates' Court. As the brand's first presence outside the United States, NoMad London will continue to offer a culture of gracious hospitality combined with understated elegance and comfort.


The iconic 19th century building has been thoughtfully transformed into a ninety-one room hotel with much of the original architectural features preserved.Our F&B outlets include signature NoMad Atrium Restaurant which serves modern American cuisine with recipes inspired by New York and London.We stay true to our ingredients and use the best produce, meat, and seafood sourced from the UK and around.Our Side Hustle Restaurant serves innovative Mexican cuisine with Southern California influence.Additionally, we offer three distinct bar experiences, each with top class cocktail programme.


Reporting to the Finance Director and working in a team of 4, the Finance Assistant cover key area of responsibility including reporting, income audit & cost control.

Key Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining all necessary income reports and journals by accurately auditing the daily revenues of the hotel.
  • Daily cash up reconciliation for all departments
  • Regular float checks and reporting on discrepancies
  • Monitoring and processing of Petty Cash
  • Processing of all invoices by ensuring that necessary backup and approvals are obtained in accordance with accounting and financial controls
  • Entering and coding financial transactions
  • Reconciling suppliers' statements, request missing invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Assisting with set up and maintenance of all BOH systems; assisting with producing daily/ weekly/ monthly reports
  • Maintaining all necessary files and registers for the finance department
  • Balancing the accounts receivable system to the general ledger

Ideally Finance Assistant must have previous experience in a similar role from other fast pace and high-volume hospitality operation. Exceptional attention to detail is essential, as well as strong numerical skills. Additionally, Finance Assistant candidates must be competent in Excel. Knowledge of Opera and Micros is beneficial.
