How can you change it up?You'll join our small systems & development team, providing systems administration, maintaining and building infrastructure pipelines, designing and deploying new services, standardising deployments, patching and upgrading existing services, automating processes and systems that aren't yet fully implemented and acting as the point of escalation for any software or monitoring issues from the Network Operations Centre.

What will you bring to the role?You'll have strong systems administration experience, with proven experience in deploying operating systems and supporting applications on Linux and Windows Server 2016 and 2019. We're also looking for you to have some experience in;
  • Over 2 years' Systems Administration experience with proven experience in deploying operating systems and supporting applications on Linux (Redhat, CentOS and Ubuntu preferred) and on Windows Server 2016 & 2019
  • Provisioning, managing and service troubleshooting in AWS
  • DNS management
  • Deploying infrastructure as Code using tools such as Ansible, Packer or Terraform
  • Scripting languages (at least one) for quick prototyping of solutions
  • Physical networking hardware technologies such as firewalls, switches and routers
The on-call rota is for a 7 day period every 3 weeks (with a paid retainer for when you're on call), and you'll need to be the first point of contact outside office hours for any incidents that require systems administration to intervene.
