An exciting opportunity to join a fast moving growth debt firm who specialises in technology companies. This role is a senior management position, working with the managing partners of the fund to help run the organisation. We are looking for someone with previous experience having managed a debt fund with a solid accounting background that will help build the operations and lead the operational team. The role is to reinforce and manage the processes that are the backbone for the Finance, HR, Administration and Investor Reporting part of the business:

Financial reporting processes: alongside the Head of Finance, holding the processes and output in line with the LPAs of the fund.

  • Production of Management account dashboard -- output for partners
  • Production of Fund Performance dashboard --- output for partners
  • Make sure the following processes have high-quality outputs and are on time according to LPAs: Audit process, NAV / CAS / Distribution & Call notices, Fund accounts, Tax filings
  • Manage the working capital bank facility & relationship
  • Manage the FX position and flows of the fund
  • Controls & Risk management (especially around cash/funding processes)


Investor reporting

  • LP quarterly letters/ specific reporting and/or tax reporting
  • LP onboarding
  • AML/KYC process


Administration and regulation

  • Management of the relationship with the Administrator
  • Organisation of the Board and Shareholder meetings
  • Organisation of the LP Advisory Committee meetings
  • Compliance with LPA and Side letters
  • Regulatory filings & reporting (CSSF in Luxembourg and FCA in the UK)
  • Continuity plans & database & process documentations


HR Process: We expect the COO to be at least 3-4 days per week physically present in the office to play a role of anchor for the team

  • KPI management dashboard -- output for partners

Requirements: The candidate must have the following experience

  • Previous experience as COO or head of operations in a fund
  • Previous experience in a private debt fund
  • Knowledge of management of Fund administrator (ideally for Luxembourg funds)
  • Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
  • Strong management skills
  • Highly methodical in prioritising work and multi-tasking and able to demonstrate attention to detail with great communication skills
  • Ability to work with discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
