Senior Finance Manager. Up to £80,000 plus share options and benefits.

****Note. This role is also advertised as a Financial Controller. The reason being the client is open to people from different current titles and different levels of seniority and we know different people will search for different titles. It won't matter which role you apply for as one person at Refreshing is viewing the specs, but please don't apply for both*****

What's the company?

The business we are working with is a provider of services to students. It's a tech business, it's fast growth, it's got an amazing culture and it's already got 200 staff worldwide. It's in the top one or two in the UK in what it does, but number one in the market it focusses. It's a household name in the student world.

What's the role?

With growth the team requires a leader between the CFO and the team. There is a high performing team of 5 which this role would manage, but they just need support/ guidance and some general help. We are looking for someone who can move things forward, rather than maintain the status quo. That would be driving processes, implementing systems, ensuring compliance, creating a financial control environment. It's a really key position.

Who are we looking for?

You will be dynamic, fun and fit in well with a fast moving culture. You will either be an SME Controller at the moment or a Senior Finance Manager who wants to take a step into controllership. You will be an all rounder which only someone who has worked in an SME will have experienced i.e. you will have been exposed to AP/ AR/ Management Accounts/ Processes/ Reporting. Senior Business partnering/ getting your hands stuck in. If you like a siloed role....this isn't for you. If you like excitement and all days being different. It is.

You need to be qualified. ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA

This is a role for someone who wants to be FD of a £50-100m business in 2 or so years.
