Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, (Shifts)

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will work as a part of the engineering team supporting and maintaining the factory, production plant, packaging machinery, site services, distribution areas, Process areas and the refinery. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will be responsible for, Fault diagnosis, Reactive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centred Maintenance , Planned Preventative maintenance and upgrades to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will be required to work across the large industrial plant on a 12-hour shift rota covering both weekly nights and weekly days.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will help to improve site production processes and Engineering Systems such as Centrifuge Pumps, Mono Pumps, Belt Conveyors, Screw Conveyors, Mixers, Bucket Elevators, Control Valves, Control Instrumentation, PLCs, Invertors, Bottling Machinery, Gearbox Drives, AC/DC Motors and Weighing Machines.

Experience and career stability within a challenging manufacturing environment ideally a food manufacturing background and demonstrating knowledge of fault-finding, will be the core skills required to be a successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Tate & Lyle Sugars.

The ideal Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will have ideally served an accredited Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance apprenticeship and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 level in Maintenance Engineering.
