Your Career As the Special Vehicle Operations Manager of INEOS Automotive you will work within a scale-up and fast moving environment. You will be surrounded by a team of experts in their field and be given the autonomy and freedom to develop the role as we grow.

The Role The Special Vehicle Operations Manager will work closely with the wider commercial and Engineering teams, responsible for day-to-day engagement with internal stakeholders ensuring the customer remains the key focus.

Working with internal and external stakeholders, the position will be vital in ensuring customer input requirements for specialist vehicle conversion & adaptation variants are realised when determined against engineering standards and base vehicle capability. This role will also work extremely closely with both conversion specialists and our repairing workshops & technicians as well as Fleet owners who will all need product specific training as and when required.

The liaison between Ineos Engineering, Product development, Homologation & compliance, Sales, Product and Aftersales teams internally, will also need to be reflected by engagement with specialists, suppliers and subject matter experts externally as well.

For the Special Vehicle Operations Manager we are looking for
  • Broad experience in Automotive Vehicle Conversion & Adaptation disciplines.
  • The right candidate will preferably come from an OEM automotive background, have strong and proactive project management and multi team engagement skills, and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hats.
  • Able to use, understand and develop product management project tools demonstrating a logical solution encompassing concept, implementation, development, manufacturing, testing & subsequent operational criteria and requirements.
  • Very strong drive for continuous improvement, whist enhancing customer satisfaction levels.
  • Ability to work in both U.K & global office and field-based teams, with a customer service focussed intent and 'excellence as standard' approach.
  • Customer service skills, which include relationship building across departments and functions.
