Job Details

We are currently seeking Network Engineer/IP Solutions Architect to join our team.

As the successful applicant (and our new team mate) you will primarily be creating quality network infrastructure, and planning and deploying applications, almost always including IP voice VOIP. You will be providing support and contributing to the network growth and expansion plans and designs for years to come. You will be working to shape appropriate network environments to meet client growth aspirations and provide business critical voice & networking services, you will regularly engage with their vendors, clients, prospects, and project managers.

Other key duties will include:
  • Design and maintain technical specifications for network components
  • Review/expand test plans to validate all VoIP services, including Unified Communications.
  • Interact with the Vendor Networks design engineers to ensure end-2-end functionality of the solution and clear paths for expansion and clearly meet client expectations
  • Supporting existing installations and clients when problems occur, planning future expansion and strategic growth plans for existing networks.


To be considered for this Network Engineer role, you will bring expert knowledge and practical experience of VoIP - (SIP/HOSTED and relevant protocols). You will have experience of the design and implementation of Unified Communications services, and Cloud deployments. You will have experience working with Access Network technologies (MPLS, SDWAN), creating, and maintaining WiFi networks and other similar experience will be very useful. You will be experienced in preparing professional documentation of designs, test plans, operational handover and support processes. Desirable experience: knowledge of legacy telephony systems an advantage (many clients are migrating to full IP voice), experience/qualifications in project management, experience in using and deploying VoIP on Broadsoft based platforms an advantage and experience with Cloud Vendors (AWS, GCP).

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week. On offer if a competitive salary of £30,000- £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
