Our client is a tech-for-good start-up that places local community at the heart of everything they do. They are on a mission to transform the way venues connect with their communities and hire their spaces. The platform helps people find, book and engage with those local venues. Think Airbnb, but for hyperlocal event spaces.

The ideal Senior Marketing Manager with aspirations to build and grow the marketing team. You will be happy working in a lightning fast, high-growth environment to drive awareness and bookings revenue by establishing and testing digital and traditional marketing channel strategies. This is an amazing opportunity to work alongside an experienced team.


• Creative and commercially-minded, having devised and introduced new initiatives to grow engagement and revenue in a digital marketplace

• Target driven with experience optimising performance marketing results

• An ambitious and motivated self-starter who enjoys working in start-ups and scale-ups, where you can have a real impact and influence

• Comfortable working with ambiguity within a rapidly changing environment

• Passionate about using 'tech for good' to positively impact communities

• Define, launch and grow creative digital and traditional marketing initiatives across multiple channels to drive booking revenue and engagement

• Manage digital marketing across paid search, CRM, SEO and other channels, using insights from analytics

• Design, implement and optimise targeted B2B and B2C campaigns such as remarketing, email and social media using Hubspot

• Work with partners to develop incentives and promotions to drive bookings

• Define KPIs for campaigns by channel, with budget recommendations

• Report on performance marketing and roadmap to Senior Leadership Team

• Be willing to muck in with all aspects of our business operations


• Proven experience with strong metrics in a marketplace start-up or scale-up

• An analytical mind, comfortable developing strategies and action plans based on evolving business metrics

• Experience in setting up and optimizing paid search campaigns

• Experience in two or more of: SEO, social media including paid social, CRM

• Experience targeting B2C audiences and devising creative digital and traditional campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

• B2B lead generation experience through email, content marketing, webinars and events

• Experience with analytics software, conversion optimisation and A/B testing

• A product mindset - you can work independently and with product to improve customer experience

• Experience in leading, influencing and coaching teams

• Comfortable interacting with leadership team and across the organisation

• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
