We are looking for a Senior Service Desk Analyst to join our Managed Services - Service Desk. You'll be responsible for managing our internal and customer server and network infrastructures.

Senior System Administrator responsibilities include supervising our Operations team, monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems. Ultimately, you will ensure our software, hardware, servers and networks run smoothly.

  • Configure internal systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Manage the Day to Day Operations and Event Management
  • Upgrade the network infrastructure
  • Install servers, devices and firewalls
  • Train new system users and set up their accounts
  • Monitor the performance of servers, software and hardware
  • Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications
  • Update technical documentation
  • At least 2 years experience as a Senior System Administrator
  • Good technical understanding of Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Profiles, Group Policy
  • Office 365 administration
  • Back-up and disaster recovery tools (Veeam, Datto)
  • VMware vSphere
  • Windows Server 2008+R2, 2012+R2, 2016, 2019
  • Knowledge of key infrastructure platforms and tools Active Directory, Exchange 2016, Microsoft Terminal Services / RDS, VDI
  • Working knowledge of WAN & LAN networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS and troubleshooting techniques
  • Knowledge of system security techniques
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • One of the following infrastructure certifications
  • Microsoft MCP or Server based qualification
  • Microsoft 365 certification
  • Citrix XenApp & Microsoft RDS
  • Cloud services (Azure, AWS)
  • Datacentre hosting
  • Linux Administration
  • Powershell
  • 25 days annual leave (including birthday and two days at Christmas)
