A new opportunity has arisen in the Lumen EMEA marketing team for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the digital and marketing operations team. Key aim is to accelerate our efforts and increase our effectiveness in these areas that underpin and impact demand and lead generation. The ideal candidate will be data driven and have extensive knowledge of digital, data and marketing operations strategies and best practices. A great opportunity to develop a committed, enthusiastic and high performing team.

The Main Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

Create the digital and marketing automation strategy

Oversee the planning of EMEA wide digital campaigns aligned to support brand awareness and demand generation programs across the wider the wider teams

Oversee the optimization of the EMEA websites and online performance to drive engagement and increase demand

Key contribution to segmentation and data management strategies and outputs - working collaboratively with sales and marketing stakeholders

Lead and inspire a team of skilled marketing managers and specialists across digital/data/design/social and marketing operations

Set the benchmark for the optimization of campaigns with a heavy emphasis on tracking, automation and reporting Lead marketing automation improvement efforts, workflows and processes to drive change, increase efficiencies and impact results and effectiveness of lead nurturing and scoring

Present quarterly results to stakeholders and recommend areas for growth and improvements

Tactical Responsibilities

Optimise marketing automation and best practices

Driving change through data informed strategies, improving engagement at each touchpoint

Leverage automation platforms to ensure optimal workflows shift marketing efficiency into high gear and fully harmonize with the sales team to drive better performance

Reporting effectively across the organisation, agencies and partners to provide KPI analysis and identify signals throughout the customer journey

Monitor and provide recommendations for all programs that require marketing automation

Work closely with US/global team to better integrate SFDC/Marketo and ensure workflows/rules are implemented and optimized for best results

What We Look For in a Candidate

Educated degree level

7+ years plus digital and marketing automation experience

Highly motivated and proactive self-starter keen to take on a new challenge and bring new ideas and inspire the team

Experience of leading and developing teams to be the best they can be and celebrate success

Strong understanding and working knowledge of segmentation and data with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Proven ability to collaborate with marketing campaign teams to understand goals, programs and provide concise post-campaign reporting

A business-based (rather than purely technical) understanding of CRM processes for lead lifecycle processing, data enrichment/normalization/segmentation, scoring and nurturing

Advanced working knowledge of SFDC and Marketo

Strategic thinker to solve complex issues and processes resulting in considered recommendations and action plans

Strong communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and with our global team

Adept at helping sales teams become more impactful and productive, using the latest techniques to help a growing team improve velocity

Analytical mindset, with a strong emphasis of understanding complex data sets and making data led decisions.

Demonstrable track record of leading successful digital initiatives and tactics such as PPC/display/paid social media
