Job DescriptionWe are looking for 2 x Presales Consultants to join our UK team focusing on assisting our Sales teams in the sale of correctly scoped, documented, and profitable solutions and services for the Data Quality division of Experian. This will include:
  • Verifying an opportunity based upon drivers, business needs, pain points, etc.
  • Identifying a solution based around our existing products and service offering, aligning it to fit the original business needs.
  • Work with the Account Manager to illustrate the value to be derived from our services
  • Work with Delivery Consultants to design ad-hoc, innovative solutions
  • Communicate the solution fit and any risks to the Delivery team as part of a seamless handover
You will be expected to gain in depth knowledge on both our existing products and services and present complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be proactive in their learning; can keep up with a fast paced environment; and can take on the challenge of monthly and quarterly targets.

A brilliant opportunity for someone with consultancy/sales engineering/development experience to join a high performing team. This is a permanent, field-based role.

QualificationsYou will provide pre-sales support and assistance to sales team, allowing the successful positioning of Experian Data Quality solutions, ensuring the correct requirements are scoped. You'll also help to facilitate the client's technical understanding of Data Quality products, acting as a key advisor. In this role you will act as a key advisor to clients' who are undertaking data migrations, data cleansing, data integration projects and provide quantifiable recommendations on how Data Quality services can be of benefit. You should be able to articulate technical solutions using our APIs and how these fulfil client needs and work on leads and opportunities with Account Managers and be able to forecast close of an opportunity to meet a set target.

To succeed in this role you should have strong relationship building skills at all levels - both internally & externally. You should have excellent communication (written and oral), influencing and consulting skills. You should be a highly motivated individual and have commercially astute with good negotiation skills. Ideally you should have a proven background in software consultancy including software solutions and have experience with complex data quality projects incorporating elements of cleansing, standardisation, validation, data consolidation/matching, data migration, data analysis etc and Experience responding to RFI/RFP tenders.
