The role sits within our International media team which provides campaign analysis as well as wide range of ad hoc and ongoing consultancy projects for our clients. You'll be responsible for an array of services, from post media campaign buying assessment (cost and quality) to helping clients with the appointment of their media agency. You will also help to conduct media process reviews, contribute to internal cross-divisional initiatives such as product offering enhancement, and develop your expertise on specific markets or product offerings, becoming a subject matter champion.

Key Activities:

  • Managing a small set of client accounts, ensuring that you have a thorough understanding of the client themselves, the contract and their needs
  • Build excellent relationships with clients, agencies, and internally across the department
  • Become a trusted advisor to your day-to-day client contacts
  • Act as a focal point for agency contact and be able to successfully resolve minor agency issues
  • Analyse and interpret data to produce meaningful and insightful reviews with actionable recommendations
  • Edit and add practical insights to the analysis provided by junior members of the team
  • Co-ordinate production of multi-market and multi-media reviews ensuring deadlines are met
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members and be involved in their training and development as well as providing regular feedback on their progress
  • Produce and deliver insightful and articulate presentations
  • Explain complex results through simple yet innovative visuals
  • Contribute to cross departmental tasks and projects
  • Share best practice across the department
  • Become a subject matter expert on specific markets or product offerings

What will you bring to the role:
  • You'll have 3-5 years previous experience of working within media (consultancy, media agency, media owner or client side)
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the offline media marketplace
  • You will possess an inquisitive mind and keenness to understand how media channels can be used to optimum effect
  • Awareness of what constitutes good media planning, the process involved and what represents good planning documentation
  • Ideally had first-hand experience of TV buying and or planning
  • You will have a broad knowledge of all media, and ideally in-depth capability within TV and/or Digital and two other media channels
  • Good communication skills (liaising with clients, agency staff, media owners)
  • You should have some experience of presenting to groups of people
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • You will have proficient computer skills (focus on Excel & PowerPoint)
  • You will have excellent analytical skills and be able to interpret data to provide compelling insights
  • You will be detail conscious and accurate
  • You will be comfortable with resolving conflict
  • You will have some supervisory skills, experience of managing people
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling easy agency and client contact and the ability to grow those relationships
