The University of Sheffield have an exciting opportunity in their department for someone with a passion for quality and a keen eye for detail looking to use their skills in Software testing to make an impact within a growing Test team.Requirements
You will join the IT Services department as a key member of the testing team ensuring high quality delivery of new and existing services. You will be required to review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
You will be an experienced Automation Tester with experience of developing Test Automation Frameworks against different technologies. You will design effective automated test scripts and will be responsible for the execution of these and identification, recording and retesting issues found as part of the testing cycles.
A key part of your role will be to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders including Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of team members through the provision of documentation, training and knowledge transfer as required.Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience creating test automation frameworks for instance (WebDriveriO, Nightwatch, or Testcafe).
- Experience working with source control tools (Bitbucket, Github) and understanding branching strategies and use of git
