Special opportunity for a dynamic and creative Marketing & E-Commerce Manager

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing & E-Commerce Manager for our wonderful e-commerce-led textile printing company. The person appointed will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing B2C & B2B marketing campaigns across multiple media channels. Campaign channels include, but are not limited to, email, social media, joint ventures, influencer marketing, PR, and more.
We need someone with previous e-commerce experience in Magento 2 (preferably Commerce Cloud). Specifically, we would like them to be familiar with Page Builder - building, editing and merging pages, managing pages and products, as well as managing and optimizing KPIs such as AOV, Conversion, LTV, and gross margin. Ideally, they will have experience in analysing the on-site customer journey via analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement. We would openly consider someone who has mastered these skills in Shopify or BigCommerce.
We are looking for a creative, reliable and committed project manager with great attention to detail and a holistic business mind set. We need someone with a good eye for detail and visual presentation, ideally with experience in fashion, crafting, fabrics, or design. It will be essential that they possess extremely strong writing skills in the Queen's English. We need someone who can work independently but is also a team player and a great communicator.

Your job will be to:

• identify trends in the wider market through regular insight check-ins and competitor analysis

• plan, coordinate and execute the company's overall marketing strategy

• design and implement an email marketing strategy, optimised for e-commerce

• implement a social media strategy that ties in with current offers and maximizes social shopping

• create, develop, and run influencer campaigns

• achieve daily sales forecasts by ensuring that key metrics such as AOV, Conversion, LTV and gross margin are all on target, and taking the appropriate actions to ensure these KPIs are hit.

• analyse the on-site customer journey via analytics tools, to identify any opportunities for on-site improvement. Where an improvement is identified and required, proposing the recommendation to the internal stakeholders, together with appropriate proposals.

• identify and implement cross-sell and upsell suggestions for products to drive revenue performance.

Job details:

• full-time role, commencing with a three month trial period; NO MOONLIGHTING

• role can be remote or company-based; post-holder must be available for up to 2 hours per day on London's time zone

• 40 hours per week; flexible working; you'll have the ability to create your own schedule

Essential requirements:

• a keen and demonstrable interest in marketing and e-commerce linked to an ability to apply and develop this in a business context

• recent demonstrable experience and success with:
- e-commerce platforms, preferably Magento
- market analysis
- email marketing in an e-commerce environment
- social media marketing
- strategic use of PR

• strong copywriting skills

• a good eye for detail, design and visual communication

• a strong 'self-starter' attitude and the ability to learn new skills is important.

• excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.

Other skills that are a plus:

• previous experience in fashion, crafting, fabrics, or design

• understanding of the digital printing industry

• previous experience with PR and influencer campaigns

• coding skills in PHP, HTML, python and Javascript

• good practical skills in MS Office suite or Mac Numbers / Pages

• Canva experience (basic graphic design, editing, and branding)
