About UsSince starting out in 2008 we've lent more than £3 billion of mortgages and have helped to put thousands of new or improved homes into the UK housing market. In that time we've built a truly international capital base. Today, our funders and investors include pension funds, insurers and global institutions like HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Citigroup and National Australia Bank. And in 2019 we became the first UK Fintech to securitise a portfolio of buy-to-let mortgages. We are a multiple award-winning company and have been proudly profitable since 2015.

About The TeamOur technology team accounts for approximately a quarter of the workforce. We're split into six cross-functional teams, led by product managers, that are delivering along specific value streams. There are many interesting challenges ahead, and we're happy for people to move between teams. As an engineer we encourage direct collaboration with the wider business, and you'd be able to engage directly with anyone across the whole company in order to get the job done. We're transparent, running regular tech demos every Friday to show the business what we have been working on. This gives everyone an insight and accelerates collaboration.

We think that the frontend is our point of contact with our customers and a good frontend makes their life easier. All our applications are written in React, we write our css with SASS and we use Webpack to bundle all together. We believe that testing is the key to writing good software and all our applications run in the cloud.

About YouAs a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be part of our core engineering team, helping build the systems used by borrowers and investors alike as well as automating our internal processes to guarantee quick application responses and user experience. You're a passionate frontend developer with at least three years experience, you are currently writing Javascript and React applications but are ready to take on the challenge of working in an agile environment. You'll work closely with very experienced engineers and will have all the tools and the opportunities to continue to learn and build a career.
