Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)
Codethink is seeking a Finance Manager to lead our small finance and administration team. The role includes line management and day to day management of financial reporting, accounting and payroll processes.
The non-exclusive list of duties outlined below represents the range of tasks that may be required to be undertaken routinely or periodically.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Monitor financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions
Oversee Administration department employees
Deal with external agencies for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments and other financial needs as necessary
Collect, interpret and review financial data to produce monthly and annual reports.
Review, monitor and manage budgets
Analyse the company's financial status and performance to identify areas of potential improvement
Provide insightful information to senior management to support long and short term decision making
Present financial reports to board members and stakeholders
Maintain financial policies and procedures
Understand and adhere to financial regulation and legislation
Any other reasonable request
Profile, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics or a related field
Significant experience in a financial role, preferably at a senior level
Comprehensive understanding of business principles and practice
Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills
Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
High levels of integrity
Highly organised and able to prioritise
Diligent and conscientious
Team player and committed to group goals
Proactive and enthusiastic
Able to use own initiative
