Offshore Hydrogen Business Development Manager-Based in any of our European sites provided it's within a commutable distance within one of our offices

Your New Role

A key part within Business Development team, you will work closely with our Offshore team to secure new contracts within the offshore market & support teams & external consultants. You'll be supporting the establishment of a project pipeline within the offshore sector. There will be opportunities to be involved in Asset Management & Operations& Maintenance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support;
  • coordination of origination & development of Offshore-to-X projects & business cases;
  • offshore-drivenproject development activities-implement hydrogen & sector-coupling options;
  • Engage with local & regional external project stakeholders; sales, offtake & cooperation partners;
  • Understand existing business cases, support development of new & project specific commercial optimization options, evaluate specific H2 & electricity offtake & partnering options;
  • Engage & align with internal stakeholders, departments & the respective project leads & teams on the offshore side;
  • Assist with representation of the company on hydrogen related topics at local & regional stakeholder events, in networks & towards respective authorities;
  • Work closely with other thecompany's subsidiaries on the development of joint business cases.

What you'll need
  • Fluency in English+/ European language where you'll be based.
  • Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business/equivalent qualification is desirable
  • 5 years min. Experience of working in the offshore renewable energy industry, proven background in a meaningful business; Ideally in the hydrogen value chain, coupling Offshore Wind & hydrogen, system integration or hydrogen production/ transport;
  • Strong numerical, research & strategic analysis;
  • Manage own performance-significant focus on delivery & an ability to balance a varied & challenging workload,- produce high quality results in demanding timeframes;
  • Ability to use Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) efficiently &CRM systems.
  • Hands-on approach, flexible, confident and open minded manner;
