An industry leading Managed Service Provider based in Belfast who operate on an international scale are currently adding to their highly professional and dedicated Technology Support team.
Senitor are assisting them in their growth by looking for an experienced 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer
who will be responsible for the installation and maintaining of a wide range of computer hardware and software systems for a wide range of businesses, in both the private and public sectors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working on the deployment and migration of business-critical applications, predominantly working with SCCM/MECM.
- Working with Active Directory to migrate users and aid with application deployment.
- Working with the latest Microsoft Cloud Technologies, including but not limited to Azure AD.
- In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.
Some of the main skills and qualities required to slot in well include previous experience of Windows 10 deployment, hands-on experience working with SCCM/MECM, Azure AD
experience and a fundamental technical understanding of Microsoft Technologies including Server 2008+, Active Directory and GPO.
It would be expected that the best suited people will have around 3 years+ experience of providing IT support services or equivalent experience of customer facing technical services and some experience of SAN Technologies.
A flexible and enthusiastic approach to the job is a MUST as is good problem solving and decision-making skills. A full driving license - preferably clean, however consideration will be given to people with low number of points for any necessary travel as part of the role.
As this role also requires access to a high level of confidential information security checks
which will be completed at induction.
