About The RoleThe role of the Completions Team Leader is to manage the Post Offer team and ensure cases progress from offer to completion as quickly and smoothly as possible. You must set high standards of personal behaviour and quality of work and be prepared to positively challenge the status quo in the pursuit of team goals.

You will encourage the team to work towards targets and KPIs giving guidance on how to effectively manage pipelines whilst providing excellent service to our brokers.

A key aspect to this role is liaising with our panel of solicitors regularly to ensure they are working with the team towards our SLAs and completion targets. This will include weekly calls and having a good understanding of the pipeline to ensure they are proactively pushing cases.

Responsibilities
  • Motivate Case Managers to achieve quick completions;
  • Work closely with Lending Operations Manager to adopt new / updated processes and ensure each member of team performs their role in line with expectations;
  • Work closely with the Pre Offer Team Leader and Underwriting Team Leaders to support a seamless process between all teams;
  • Carry out monthly meetings with Case Managers to ensure they are performing against KPIs and developing into their roles;
  • Oversee the team's daily pipeline management process and completion process; ;
  • Embed new staff into the team with an effective training programme and support;
  • Carry out regular spot checks on Case Managers' pipeline to ensure quality of written and verbal communication;
  • Ensure Case Managers are proactively managing their pipeline and that all case notes are up to date;
  • Ensure Brokers receive regular updates;
  • Assist the Lending Operations Manager implementing new processes changes and improvements;
  • Develop management and people skills in order to provide solid leadership to a busy and pressured team.
About You
  • Experience of dealing with a high volume workflow and prioritising accordingly
  • Previous experience of dealing with solicitors and legal enquiries
  • Ability to form good relationships with key stakeholders
