Role OverviewWe are looking for a passionate marketing manager who is user focused and data driven. In this role you will own subscriber lifecycle communications and be responsible for retention and engagement strategies and increasing the lifetime value of Packt's users.

About PacktPackt is a leading publisher of technical learning content with the ability to publish books on new and emerging tech faster than any other publisher in the world. Our mission is to help tech professionals advance their knowledge and put software to work to build a better future.

We're developing our subscription service to be more than just a collection of books, bringing together the expertise of our authors, editors and content engineers to build a Technology Knowledge Graph. This curated library database will evolve and adapt to developers' needs, cutting out the noise to deliver high-quality and relevant educational content exactly when they need it.

What you'll do?The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will have these responsibilities
  • Own KPIs for reactivations, DAUs, and cancellations
  • Develop a lifecycle marketing strategy to drive engagement across the subscriber base and reduce churn
  • Implement tactics to upgrade user rate plans
  • Work with product managers to implement successful user journeys at onboarding and activation
  • Work with product managers to launch new features to the subscriber base
  • Review, test and optimize lifecycle triggers and cancellation journeys
  • Work with analytics team to understand data around why users leave and how to retain them
  • Work with customer relations team to understand user problems and develop solutions
  • Own the CRM tools and platforms to deliver end-to-end lifecycle comms to subscribers

RequirementsWho you are?You will be a marketing or product expert with proven experience of driving retention and engagement in a subscription business. You will need to be highly analytical and data-driven, with a relentless focus on the needs of the user.
