Infrastructure engineer - Up to £50,000 per annum - London/Remote (Must be able to drive)
Infrastructure engineer is required to join a leading FX trading & spread betting company based in London. The company have recently acquired new shareholders who are investing significantly into the IT department, so they are looking for an infrastructure engineer to come on board and join the growing infrastructure team. This is a brand-new role within the company and will be responsible for a mix of BAU & project work. The environment is a mixture between om premise and cloud and this role will have a great opportunity to get involved in a lot of cloud work as the company look to migrate over to AWS.
For this position the company are really looking for someone who is motivated to expand their technical knowledge, is intuitive and can work in a fast-paced trading environment. The role will cover a broad range of skills and will require new skills to be picked up along the way. The head office is based in the City of London with offices also based in in Slough and Hemel Hempstead. The team are currently all working remotely and will continue to do so into the near future, but the company are looking for someone who is open to potentially working from the head office once a week. It is also important that the successful candidate have a driver's licence and the ability to drive as there will sometimes be a requirement to move equipment from one office to another. (Any costs occurred will be fully reimbursed)

- 3+ years in a similar role
- Experience with VMWare, O365 AND Microsoft windows.
- Experience with AWS would be beneficial although not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong skills in compute, storage, virtualisation, Windows Server estate management
- Experience in Linux would be highly beneficial
