Are you an experienced healthcare professional who is supportive, confident, and able to drive forward projects and programmes that make a real difference? Are you looking for a role where you can use your skills working directly with people affected by ovarian cancer, as well as developing services that will support patients in the future? Then this could be the role for you.
We are an ambitious charity, building on our achievements and working to transform the lives of women with ovarian cancer. We are also investing in our future. This is an exciting time to be joining Target Ovarian Cancer as we continue to grow as an organisation.
We are looking for a Lead Nurse Adviser to join our Supportive Services team, directly supporting people affected by ovarian cancer and co-ordinating the delivery and development of our support line and engagement programme for Clinical Nurse Specialists.
As this role requires the post-holder to provide information and support through our nurse-led support line, we are looking for an individual with senior nursing experience in an oncology setting and current NMC registration. While experience in gynae-oncology is highly desirable, we are open to hearing from individuals from a variety of relevant professional backgrounds, and we will of course provide all the training and support you need to develop into the role.
The role is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent position, although we would consider this on a 30 hours per week basis for the right candidate. We're currently all working from home and will continue to offer agile working in the future as restrictions ease. This role could be home-based in the UK with some travel, or based at our office at Angel Gate Islington with regular home-working.
