Job Details

As an IT Software Support Analyst, you should be keen to learn and have good IT knowledge. In return 123 Insight will provide on the job training within a friendly and professional team.

You will be supporting a number of different applications across different platforms, including browser based and mobile applications.

This is a particularly good opportunity for an individual who has had a couple of years in IT support and is eager to learn new things and take the next step in their career working towards becoming a team leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering customer support calls and giving technical advice on 123insight software
  • Assisting with the on-going development of the software
  • Creating bespoke reports for individual customers
  • Performing remote installs and upgrades
  • Testing new releases of software
  • Investigation of software bugs
  • Issuing new licences and monthly serial codes
  • In-house IT support
  • Administration duties & additional duties as required by 123 Insight

Key Skills:

  • Good general IT knowledge
  • Helpdesk experience
  • Strong experience in a scripting language, for example
  • - SQL (Microsoft, Postgres, MySQL etc.)
  • - Java
  • - HTML
  • - PHP
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate in a busy and challenging environment
  • Willingness to learn, with a positive attitude and drive to take on new responsibilities
  • Be customer focused and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Able to prioritise, manage and track multiple tasks and tickets
  • Attention to detail combined with a common sense approach
  • Troubleshooting, analytical & problem solving skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Work will be supervised but with scope to work independently

Additional information

  • Appropriate software training will be provided
  • Working hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Must possess own transport due to location of business
  • Free parking

  • Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
