A fantastic Assistant Lead Mechanical Design Engineer opportunity has opened up with one of the UK's leading R&D Technology Consultancies based in Kent.

This Organisation partners with a handful of the UK's leading Technology Companies to help conceptualise, build and design their R&D projects. These Companies range from Scientific, Medical, Aerospace and Aviation Companies and they are looking for the successful Assistant Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to Lead on projects helping to make sure they hit their particular milestones of the Project roadmap as well as provide Technical Analysis for non Technical stakeholders to manage their customers expectations.

The Assistant Lead Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have:
  • Minimum of 7+ years working in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer function in an R&D environment working in collaboration with multidisciplinary Engineering teams.
  • Experience mentoring Junior Engineers and also providing Technical Analysis for Project Conceptualisation where needed.
  • Minimum of a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, PhD is preferred.

This excellent opportunity is paying a salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience, which includes a generous pension scheme, Health care package and share options.
