Job Description
  • Responsible for the planning, management, execution and reporting of digital brand, corporate and line of business content and social activities against a required outcome and business objectives in the correct channels
  • Deliver a roadmap to generate, edit, publish, share engaging content daily developing a strong brand awareness message
  • Planning, management and execution of social media campaigns on a day-to-day basis using Hootsuite Enterprise
  • Research, plan, and propose Bottomline's development and use of new, emerging digital technologies, platforms and communications approach that keep delivery relevant on an emerging media landscape
  • Build Bottomline's social community and communicate with followers in a timely manner
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics aligned to social efforts including:
  • Managing (production & editing) and optimizing podcast channels and technology
  • Manage the strategy, planning and execution of the payments podcast channel: Apple, Spotify, SoundCloud
  • Guest & topic researching and scheduling to increase the following including host training
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reporting across podcast channels
  • Plan and execute customer or influencer stories and testimonials for both sales and marketing use;
  • Liaise with 3rd parties (agencies and internal teams) on the planning, drafting, design/ filming, approval and uploading of case studies
  • Responsibility for communicating internally on activities to promote awareness, progress and results of programmes
  • Sourcing information and drafting of award submissions across the GBS line of business
  • Manage the budget related to social, podcast and customer advocacy activities
  • Support the Head of Communications and Content for EMEA and, more globally, the shared Comms team where required, and lead junior staff where required in efforts to support the role


Required Skills
  • Degree in Digital Marketing, or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the planning, strategy, execution and reporting of digital content, social media and podcasts/video story-boarding and associated campaigns
  • Prior experience in global financial services, banking, payments or fintech
  • Proven track record of running, and growing, social media and podcast channels
  • Experience using Hootsuite and Zencastr, or similar recording broadcast and recording platforms
  • Any previous experience in general marketing efforts such as running campaigns from Marketo and Salesforce.com, digital and website content would be beneficial
  • Experience using monitoring and reporting tools such as Hootsuite, TalkWalker, Spotify, SoundCloud
  • A strong communicator with a high attentional to detail including a creative mind and a passion for innovation
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategy, planning, counselling and selling-in of newest digital media experiences, including those in live and clubhouse environments
