The Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for Gathering Technical Detail (IP & Security), bespoke configuration preparation and implementation of IP products across the Lumen Global Network. At all times ensuring the implementation meets customer expectations and business revenue requirements.
Gathering Technical Detail (IP & Security) consists of communicating with customers technical contacts to capture the requirements and network details for managed & Unmanaged IPVPN, IV,DIA, EVPL, SD WAN, Cloud Service Provider. This will also involve validating order entry against design. This task is vital to the role to ensure customer satisfaction is always maintained.
Must have extensive knowledge of Class of Service Traffic Markings, Network routing protocols (emphasis on BGP) and Cisco Hardware specifications.
Suitable candidate must have excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, a desire to learn, ability to collaborate with various roles across the business and knowledge share with other team members.
The ability to efficiently manage large projects is vital to this role. This includes ensuring all tasks are completed within our Service Level Objective, liaising with multiple individuals from across the delivery teams, having a high attention to detail to ensure we get orders right first time and communicate clearly with the customer to provide the best experience possible.
Experience of working within a large Telecommunications Service Provider or equivalent.
Experience of gathering technical information via interfacing with Internal & external customers.
Experience at working within a high-volume quick delivery provisioning organisation.
Experience working to tight deadlines.
