Job Title: Lead .Net Developer

Location: Remote Working initially, then hybrid from a BCA location

Salary: £75,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

Job Status: Permanent

The Role:

You will be joining our in house media server team, which sits at the heart of our internal systems. You will be taking technical ownership of one of our most key underlying services - maintaining, migrating and modernizing our world of vehicle media. We are looking for a Lead .Net Developer who will work alongside our product teams - both in house and near shore. A suitable candidate will have proven experience with ASP.NET Web Services (Rest & SOAP), Windows Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL and Azure Cosmos DB, works well in a team and enjoys pairing / mini mobbing.

Key Outcomes:

  • Converting business requirements into practical solutions, delivering high quality products that are fit for purpose, robust and secure
  • Collaborating with project teams to create, design and deliver a range of solutions using C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core and Azure
  • Maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting the current implementations
  • Creating technical designs, writing acceptance criteria, performing test driven development and breaking deliverables down into smaller units of work
  • Responsible for code deployment using Azure DevOps
  • Sharing knowledge with team members
  • Contributing to the design of the new Media Server solutions
