OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

This role is a great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant who is looking to make a move into Industry, offering an opportunity to join an experienced and growing Group Reporting team.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and results-focused, and will join our finance team, based across our Newry and Belfast offices.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.

Supporting the month end close process - balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, consolidated cashflow statement etc.

Review financial information with the intention of proactively identifying any issues and taking corrective action

Preparing legal entity balance sheets packs to audit standard

Assist in internal and/or external audit requests for the Group and Subsidiary Entity reporting

Taking ownership of ad hoc projects designed to promote process improvements



SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate degree in related disciple (2.1 or above preferred)

A newly qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA

Strong technical accounting experience (Group plc experience desirable)

Highly personable, team player. Open to sharing knowledge and skills

Ability to work in fast paced environment and to tight deadlines

Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify problems and offer solutions

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Flexible hands on approach

Experience in the implementation of systems is desirable but not essential
